An American hop assault for all the ambivalent warriors who get the girl in the end. "Look, I ainít in this for your revolution, and Iím not in it for you, princess."

Poured from can to pint glass. Slightly murky golden yellow with a fluffy white head. Floral hop aroma when you open the can. Taste is smooth, hops are dominant, but not overpowering. Slight bitter finish. Medium to light body. Easy drinking (I drank all 6 in one night). $10.00 for six. Would like to see it maybe a dollar or two less on the six pack, therefore I would purchase more. But at the price, I would be a little hesitant in purchasing on a regular basis.

Aroma is citrus, pine and a hint of can/metallic. The flavor is citrus, fruit, a strong undercurrent of sweetness and a mix of bitter and tangy in the finish.

Can. Thanks to adnielsen for sending this. Pours a golden orange color with white head. Citrus, bready, hoppy aroma. Citrusy, grapefruity, hoppy flavors. Pretty decent, refreshing IPA.

Canned. Poured medium golden with a well-retained, sticky white head. The aroma picked up fresh, juicy pine resin and citrus bitterness over bread and biscuity malts.. quite nice. The flavor found sweet caramel, molasses, and a little bready character at the core, with juicy pine and citrusy bitterness around.. finished tangy and bitter, with lovely residual hops. Medium-bodied, fresh, and fairly aggressive on the palate.. overall a very good, tasty beer.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 first pints off a fresh keg! Clean and hoppy with a good finish. Golden caramel color. Nice head settling to peaked lace. Good clean citrus finish on the tongue.

12oz. can. I liked this beer. Poured hazy golden-orange with nice thick head that stuck around through out with lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine and some tropical fruit. Taste was the same with sticky, hop bitterness, along with nice malt balance and good mouthfeel. Felt thick on the tongue. Pine tended to be on the finish that was nice and long. Pretty good beer overall. not easy to find in cleveland area

Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma has some mild stonefruits...mango, peach...and a bit of earthy spice. Flavor follows suit...more to the earthy/herbal hoppy side with some late mango and a touch of grainyness. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and tea/earthy.

Can @ home, courtesy of TheAlum. Thanks Adam! Pours a clear, golden yellow appearance with a frothy, cream colored head. Resiny, potent yet soft grapefruit citrus hoppy, lightly toasted malty aroma. Refreshingly citrusy, grapefruity, sweet toasted malty, somewhat piney flavor with a mildly bitter, hoppy kick on the finish. Nice stuff that I wish I could have more often.

For me, this was a well balanced IPA. The sweetness up front kind of turned me off for a bit but then after a few more drinks the sweetness was balanced perfectly with the hop bitterness. Coming in 12 oz cans, the artwork on the cans itself is worth checking out, but stay for the beer, it is quite good! REVIEW STYLE: India Pale Ale ABV:6.5% PURCHASED AT: Bootlegged by a friend. Pour: Orange/amber pour with a medium white head. Lacing sticks heavily as you drink. Aroma: Piney, citrus hop smell. Taste: Very sweet first few drinks that are balanced with the hops; a nice IPA. Overall: B My Recommendation: If in the Chicagoland area and want to try something local, Revolution would be a great place to start!
