Can from trade. Pours copper gold with anclingy off white head. Aroma is dank and citrusy. Flavor like it smells, smooth caramel malt base, tons of dank, citrusy hop. Well done.

From tap. Clean, blood orange in glass. Floral hop nose. Hints of hemp. A little funk. A real bitter bomb in the mouth. Doors not relent. Great mouthfeel. I enjoy this less than some of there more nuanced beers.

Brought some cans back home from Chicago. Pours a golden amber with a small white fluffy head. Bitter citrus smell. Hoppy bitter taste. Slightly grassy. Like fresh Spring air in a glass.

12 oz can. Gold-orange with a small, sticky white head. Medium-intensity aroma seems to have a blend of the big three American hop aromas: citrus, resin, and floral. Hard to pick out anything more distinct, and not particularly outstanding. The flavour is better, though, with floral/sweet citrus hops backed up by malt and bitterness. Very drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear but golden amber colour with a foamy white head that laces well enough. Made in an upfront hoppy/citrus kick and shows some cereal/grain like note that gives it depth. Flavourful palate and dry but hoppy finish and good length make this a pretty good IPA, I’d say!

Fantastic IPA. Nice sweet malt. Fantastic hop flavor and just the right amount of bitterness. As good as it gets

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rich hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bright citrus and piney hops with a good malt backbone and quite a bit of tropical fruit sugars noticeable in the smell. Medium-bodied; Assertive hops up front with a decidedly piney and herbal bite, all with a smooth malt backbone and a good rich toffee finish. Aftertaste shows some hop bitterness, but not too much, all with a good balance and a little sweetness. Overall, a nice IPA for sure, but it smells and looks nicer that the final taste. Still, well worth bringing this home from Chicago! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Binny’s in Chicago (South Loop), Illinois on 21-August-2013 for US$1.67 sampled at home in Washington on 24-March-2014.

Thanks tectactoe. Good all around drinkable IPA. A deep citrus aroma. A sharp piney citrus hop flavor. Hop flavors stick around afterwards in a good way. I liked this one.

Nothing to knock your socks off, good IPA and is what an IPA should be, but is nothing more than that either.
