Pours pitch black with a finger of chocatley head. Decent lacing. Nose is all bourbon. Some Roast and a slight bit of chocolate. Mouth is a lot of bourbon. A slight roastiness mixed with vanilla and a chocolate. Very creamy with a bit of bourbon burn.

650ml boxed bottle with no bottle date from bananbi11, cellared 3 months and shared with him at cellar temperature. Black pour with a brown head leaving great lacing. Nose was solid vanilla, chocolate, caramel. Some cottage cheese. Taste is of sweet caramel, lactose, vanilla with some light bakers chocolate & light cinnamon. A bit rough as the blend is not well done. Medium to full bodied with low carbonation and a solid alcohol presence. Finishes fairly sweet. A bit disappointing, as was hoping for more, but this blend was not that well done, and there was enough cottage cheese lactose to be off-putting. 13.8

On tap at Revolution. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, some bourbon and light coffee. Similar taste, also some light toffee. Fairly smooth and with a long finish. Tasty.

(En fût à la brasserie): Un lait frappé chocolat et cerise avec une touche d’acidité. La barrique est très enveloppante et vanillée.

Big bourbon aroma upfront, hints of brown sugar and candy. Nice, nearly black color, lasting brown head, minimal lacing. Flavor is a bit sweet, smooth and creamy. A moderately boozy finish. Good stuff.

2015 edition from the Bodega. Big foamy head, dissipates slowly. Chocolate, coffee, and booze in the nose. Smells a bit hot. Really nice milk chocolate flavor. A bit sweet, but very nice.

My Bottom Line:
Wooden angles surface atop soft lactose and chocolatey sweetness in this enjoyable Barrel-Aged Milk Stout.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam stays atop the darkness.
-Alcohol warms up the finish.
-The barrel profile isn’t as bright as most of their other BAged brews.
-I would have preferred better definition on the malt profile.
