Bottle. Excellent. Pours dark brown with a fluffy brown head. Aroma is creamy, chocolate, nutty, roast malt, bourbon, hints of fruit, wood, touch of chalk. Taste is just delightful; chocolate, creamy, roast malt, bourbon, wood, vanilla, some fruit. Thick, rich, creamy body. Some nice lacing. Medium carbonation was just a wee bit much for the style. Regardless, excellent. A wonderful BA Stout.

Bottle; Pour is murky brown with amber highlights; Theres a modest head here, that quickly creates a ring, light haze, modest spotting here. The nose is the highlight for me ; vanilla, bourbon, milk chocolate, booze, dark fruits - the flavor profile shares these elements of vanilla, bourbon, milk chocolate, light booze, dark fruits - I thought it could use some more heft , and some more age in the barrels as well - the oaked notes were light here. This is a nice brew to sample, either way

Shared this bottle at local tasting, sent by csteele awhile back, thanks Chris! Pours black with a thin brown head and a little bit of lasting, the aroma has a good amount of chocolate with a little bit of oak and booze, the flavor has a chocolate front end with a sweet finish with the BA notes coming through but not overpowering, slick mouthfeel, dang good stuff.

Pours dark black with tan colored head. Opens up with a sweet chocolate taste and finishes with a mild boozy backbone. I really enjoyed this beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep brown color with a small beige head. Massive bourbon barrel aroma, really nice barrel notes throughout- bourbon, caramel, vanilla, toasted oak- some roasted malts, as well. The flavor doesn’t hit the same notes quite as hard and has a bit too much dark fruitiness in the end. Thin-bodied, with modest carbonation and a smooth, sweet mouthfeel. Easy to drink. Nice bourbon sweet stout.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2013 - on the bus. Pours clear brown with a tan film head. Sugary dark malt nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with lots of dark malts, molasses, alcohol, dark berries. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky sweet finish with more dark sugars, chocolate. Not bad, but damn sweet.

Tap at the brewpub. Nearly black, and with a thin off-white head. Lots of bourbon up front with slight kisses of vanilla and almost a cherrywood quality in the aroma. Flavor is very bourbon forward, actually too much so. Some vanilla and a hint of chocolate sweetness, but mostly hot on the bourbon front. Medium to lighter body.
