22oz bottle - Quite smooth and dairy, with some very nice bourbon in the forefront and background! Perhaps some of the most pure bourbon notes of any bourbon-aged stout I have tried. Nicely done!

2015 edition from the Bodega. Big foamy head, dissipates slowly. Chocolate, coffee, and booze in the nose. Smells a bit hot. Really nice milk chocolate flavor. A bit sweet, but very nice.

(bottle) clear very dark brown colour with a tall brown head; aroma of wet wood, dried fruit, milk chocolate, then stewed fruit; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter and sour finish

My Bottom Line:
Wooden angles surface atop soft lactose and chocolatey sweetness in this enjoyable Barrel-Aged Milk Stout.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam stays atop the darkness.
-Alcohol warms up the finish.
-The barrel profile isn’t as bright as most of their other BAged brews.
-I would have preferred better definition on the malt profile.

Bottle. Aroma is strong with bourbon. Notes of brown sugar and vanilla stand out. In the mouth, the bourbon becomes overpowering, but the palate is nice and creamy. Actually, a bit lighter than expected. It finishes very well, and gets more complex as it warms. Solid.

Superbe produit.

Poured from a bottle. Bourbon is slight in aroma with nutty and chocolate there also. Body is kinda thin on the mouth feel for what is expected with Oats and lactose. Very thin white head that disappears quickly. Sweet beginning and goes to a nice subtle dry finish.

Dark dark brown tan head. Vanilla smell and some fennel. Great rich palate. Flavors of cocoa and some licorice and lots of vanilla. Finishes rich.

Dark brown pour, wispy tan head. Nose is tart cherry, vanilla, oak. Similar taste with a lot of cherry in the middle and oak on the back end. Very thin.

Bottle. Fairly thin appearance, a milk chocolate liquid coalescing to deep brown in the glass. Fluffy latte-colored head. The aroma’s slammed with fresh coconut strips, smoked beef and chocolate syrup. The flavor has a similar melange -- chocolate and tangy dark fruits with coconut and a splash of whiskey -- but in more subdued form. Body, as expected, is pretty thin; carbonation is mild, peppery and fizzy. Not as well-developed a stout or barrel flavor as I’d like -- a little thin and mild. Too tangy as well.

Nice wet like how the barrel adds something to it. Very smooth and creamy. Would definitely drink again. First drank: DLD 2015 Vintage: 2014
