Back in the USSR, I mean USSA, and went for one of my favorite breweries. Pours a dark black pour with a small java head. Nose is rich malt , coffee and whiskey. Taste is heavy whiskey, coffee with some subtle chocolate. Finish is whiskey again with the same tasting notes and a moderately long finish. Great porter. Quaff Score 9 / 10

Bomber. Pours black with a brown head and strong bourbon, coffee, vanilla aroma. Taste is heavy bourbon and alcohol, with coffee, vanilla, and chocolate leading to a warming, bourbon finish. Delicious brew

Bottle pour into a mini-snifter. Pours a thick black with a khaki colored head of foam. The aroma is roasty coffee and chocolate. The taste is pretty sweet. The barrel notes do come through in the aroma and taste, but they seem to accentuate the other characteristics more than they do anything else. Thicker body with a medium carbonation.

Black pour, ruby hue with a thin light tan creamy head and light striped lacing .... aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak, coconut, light notes of coffee and of course roasted malts ....... taste is of vanilla, coconut, roasted malts, light bourbon, oak, coffee and sweet caramel malts ..... has quite a bit of a boozy feel for only 8.5% ... mouthfeel is thin with a lightly bitter dry roasted bourbony finish .... thin and just slightly creamy ...... good stuff

Pours a deep umber color with two finger of gaseous khaki foam. Nose is subtle with aromas of light roasted malt, some bourbon sweetness, herbal rootbeer and traces of fresh coffee. The palate follows with less coffee than expected but beautiful elegance and light handed flavors letting the true porter shine with nuances of bourbon and coffee adding complexity but playing the supporting role in this offering !

Bomber into a snifter. Dark opaque pour with a khaki head that fades to a nice ring. Aromas of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, coffee and sweet toasted sugars. Palate is relatively light but, not on flavors. Complex and beautiful; sweet chocolate and vanilla with just a touch of bitterness from the coffee. Honestly one of the best bba beers I have had. Excellent job Revolution!

Poured a black color with aromas of coffee, roast, chocolate, light vanilla and booze. Flavors are a mixture of all aromas with some chocolate and bourbon at the forefront.

Bottle. Dark cola with a thin tan head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel and butterscotch. Taste is vanilla, caramel and butterscotch to start, followed by coffee with a woody barrel finish. Smooth, round mouthfeel with a surprisingly quick finish. Maybe a little thin. Delicious but I could use a little more coffee and body.

Bottle. Dark dark cola brown. Aroma is sweet vanilla, and bourbon. The taste adds marshmallow, coffee, caramel, and rich roasty syrupy malts. The palate is rich and smooth with a buttery end. Top notch. Wow. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
