Hazy yellow. Banana gummy esters in the aroma. Thin white head. Refreshing on the palate. Flavor is dominated by bubblegum. Body is a bit heavy for a wit.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can. Pale hazy yellow with a rather small white head. Rather light aroma. Pronounced lemon, some wheat, some yeast. Flavor is light and tart. Quite lemony, rather dry. Rather thin, not the best white, but refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz can pours a hazy straw color but darker than most Witbiers. Small white head without much lacing. Aroma is as expected: lemon, grass, spices, orange peel, Belgian yeast and banana. Taste is neither sweet nor sour, and the finish is clean and spicy with a bit of bitterness. Body is medium to light without too much carbonation. A very refreshing and solid Belgian wit which Iíll try again in warmer weather.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow. Not much head, some lacing. Weak nose of lilies and Belgian-ness. Mouth is light bodied, some silkiness, slight yeasty spice and lilies, finish has an almost licorice-ness. While Iím not a big Wit beer fan, I liked this one and would drink again.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden...interedting this is not hazy for a wit pretty clear. Aroma is belgian spice citrus lemon and a faint hint of banana. Pretty standard wit aroma. Flavor is clean lemon and light malt and finishes dry with some belgian spice at the end good wit beer not as malty as others...lighter than most

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2012 Re-rate: Ok. The first one I had was a bad canning run. The brewery gave me a new and free six=pack to try a and itís a fantastic witbier. Itís reminiscent of Blue Moon, but just much fresher and better flavor. You can smell the coriander and orange peel as well as some other spices. It pours a somewhat cloudy golden orange color. I nice fluffy head with some lacing. Taste is fresh orange and coriander with some other cereal and spices. Goes down smooth and leaves a nice taste in your mouth. Definitely want to drink this nice Belgian white.
Original rating: Iím hoping I got a bad can of this, because it was mediocre and bordered on bad. Poured a pale yellow out of the can. No head whatsoever and no lacing. Almost no carbonation. Taste was like a muted version of a Belgian Wit but really no flavor to speak of and it smelled bland and maybe stale. I have liked all of their stuff so far, thatís why this poor beer took me by surprise. Might try again just to be sure, but other than a bad batch, this beer would be a big #Fail. I actually poured half of it out.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had on tap at the Village Tap for their Local Tap Takeover. Served in an 8 oz. taster glass.
A: Pours a very hazy light straw color with a nice half finger white head that subsides in a light film ring.
S: Smells of subtle yeast and wheat with some nice pepper spice and citrus esters.
T: Typical bubblegum yeast with a spiced backbone. Some coriander and light pepper with a decent amount of citrus, but nothing to substantial.
M: While it went down nicely, there was absolutely no taste left on the palate. Itís as if I didnít even drink it. Very odd.
O: A decent witbier, but I would pass on it given another opportunity. The mouthfeel really did it in for me and the flavors were kind of muted.
Serving type: on-tap
