Our interpretation of this classic and refreshing Belgian style ale is brewed with organic pilsner and wheat malts from Canada. Freshly ground coriander and Curacao orange peel, along with a special Wit yeast strain, contribute wonderful orange and citrus aromas and a crisp, yet silky, mouthfeel.

Can. Pours a clear light yellow gold, with no head . Nose is wheat and a grainy. Taste is a blend of cloves and spice, and yeast. A typical wit, either love them or leave them, Id rather leave them. Quaff Score 6 / 10

In short: A typical spicy witbier with everything cranked-up to 11. Good beer.
How: Can 12oz, consumed (probably fresh) immediately after receiving it from cetherid, thanks a lot Chris .
The look: Cloudy yellow blonde body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is typical spicy witbier (wheat, coriander, lemon peels, etc.) except that the aroma intensity cranked up a bit. Im becoming less and less lured by spicy witbier aromas. In mouth the beer feels very full, a whole lot of wheat, a lot of fresh bananas (young bananas between green and yellow), lemon zest, smooth wheaty acidity, usual witbier spices (coriander and friends). The hops make a surprisingly nice in the finish (relative to the style) with a tropical fruits bitterness that blends well with the fruity flavors of the witbier. An above average take on a style that usually bores me. So it looks like this is my 100th witbier rating, 100 rating of girly beers, so many girly beers Im starting to feel self-conscious, does my beer belly make me look fat?

Perfect for a late summer patio session. Very smooth and drinkable witbier with subtle aroma and flavor components. Pour from a 12 oz. can.

From a can, faint aroma of citrus fruit...some sour. Cloudy yellow with barely any head. First taste is sweet, orange citrus, quickly balanced by the peppery spices. Some bite on the end that gives it a pleasant mouth feel. Definitely a summer refresher but a nice beer.

Tap. Gold with small white head. Aroma is a bit funky. Sweet taste, maybe too much. Mediocre through the middle and end. Other revolution beers are better.

7/21/2011: Revolution Bottom Up Wit (Belgian Wit)... Aroma: Wheat malt; doughy bread. Appearance: White-yellow color; frothy off-white crown that leaves realy cool shapes on the glass. Flavor: Wheat; zesty citrus peel; slightly sweet; passive coriander. Palate: Medium-light body; smooth. Overall: Very refreshing and balanced.

Draught (4.5% ABV) at Revolution in Chicago, IL. Rating #129 for this beer.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is slightly tart, light body, medium carbonation, and medium small bubble lacing. Taste is spritzy tart and nice light orange. Pretty good.

Got this as an extra from GranvilleTim (great guy) Small white head. Taste is light, with a little bit of citrus, banana and clove. Finishes a tad dry, but overall it was refreshing. Great beer for the summer yard work
