Our interpretation of this classic and refreshing Belgian style ale is brewed with organic pilsner and wheat malts from Canada. Freshly ground coriander and Curacao orange peel, along with a special Wit yeast strain, contribute wonderful orange and citrus aromas and a crisp, yet silky, mouthfeel.

Tap at Revolution Brewing, Milwaulkee Ave, Chicago. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and loads of lacing. The aroma is yeast and banana. The flavour is weak sour with a citrus acid yeast palate.

Pours cloudy yellow with creamy white medium head. Pours hazy yellow with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet light malt, spicy, light citrus. LIght creamy mouth. Flavor was a ice lighty hopped/citrusy wheat brew. Orange peel enhanced the simplistic grainy/biscuity base. Nice.

Can. Pours a clear light yellow gold, with no head . Nose is wheat and a grainy. Taste is a blend of cloves and spice, and yeast. A typical wit, either love them or leave them, I’d rather leave them. Quaff Score 6 / 10

In short: A typical spicy witbier with everything cranked-up to 11. Good beer.
How: Can 12oz, consumed (probably fresh) immediately after receiving it from cetherid, thanks a lot Chris .
The look: Cloudy yellow blonde body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is typical spicy witbier (wheat, coriander, lemon peels, etc.) except that the aroma intensity cranked up a bit. I’m becoming less and less lured by spicy witbier aromas. In mouth the beer feels very full, a whole lot of wheat, a lot of fresh bananas (young bananas between green and yellow), lemon zest, smooth wheaty acidity, usual witbier spices (coriander and friends). The hops make a surprisingly nice in the finish (relative to the style) with a tropical fruits bitterness that blends well with the fruity flavors of the witbier. An above average take on a style that usually bores me. So it looks like this is my 100th witbier rating, 100 rating of girly beers, so many girly beers I’m starting to feel self-conscious, does my beer belly make me look fat?
