Our interpretation of this classic and refreshing Belgian style ale is brewed with organic pilsner and wheat malts from Canada. Freshly ground coriander and Curacao orange peel, along with a special Wit yeast strain, contribute wonderful orange and citrus aromas and a crisp, yet silky, mouthfeel.

Tap. Gold with small white head. Aroma is a bit funky. Sweet taste, maybe too much. Mediocre through the middle and end. Other revolution beers are better.

7/21/2011: Revolution Bottom Up Wit (Belgian Wit)... Aroma: Wheat malt; doughy bread. Appearance: White-yellow color; frothy off-white crown that leaves realy cool shapes on the glass. Flavor: Wheat; zesty citrus peel; slightly sweet; passive coriander. Palate: Medium-light body; smooth. Overall: Very refreshing and balanced.

Draught (4.5% ABV) at Revolution in Chicago, IL. Rating #129 for this beer.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is slightly tart, light body, medium carbonation, and medium small bubble lacing. Taste is spritzy tart and nice light orange. Pretty good.

Got this as an extra from GranvilleTim (great guy) Small white head. Taste is light, with a little bit of citrus, banana and clove. Finishes a tad dry, but overall it was refreshing. Great beer for the summer yard work

Can. One of my the best wit beers i’ve tried thus far. Problem is, i’m not crazy about wit beers or "clovey" beers. This one is light and refreshing. Banana and clove. Would try again.

a decent wit that you can definitely get a sort of pilsner bite on the back end with. aroma is very good, color is typical, flavor is brighter and hotter than you would expect for the style, but still very good.

On tap at Melt. Very pale but not hazy with small white head. I think the keg needs to be stirred up a little. Mild coriander citrus aroma but lacking the tangy wheat/citrus. Mild fruity malts and herbal dry finish, lacking body and wheaty tang. Not good. Will try again from can because I like wits in the the summer, and I had high expectations.

Good flavor - biscuity without being too yeast-forward. Bit of lemongrass in the finish along with some phenols. Overall, very pleasant wit.
