Dry, spicy French-style saison abundantly dry-hopped with Spalt hops. This is the first beer in our Repo Man soundtrack series.

On tap, pours a clear orangish golden color with dense white head. Decent sticky lacing, but limited carbonation. Yeasty aroma intertwined with spicy cloves and overripe banana. Taste is in line with the nose, yet some sweet tropical flavors are present. Palate is left with a resinous sticky sensation. Other Revolution beers Iíve tried seemed more refined.

Well color me impressed. Solid saison with a nice dry hop flavor and has a good caramel note too. Has a good sweet breadiness too, and is definitely enjoyable.

On tap, poured into a sampler. The aroma is a strong honey and tropical character. Later on, a touch of "sweat" comes through along with a grassy note. The beer is a foggy orange-gold color with a thin white ring of dense head and a few light wisps on the surface. It also has a light, runny lace that leaves a clean glass. The taste is a medium high sweet and bitter balance. The viscous beer contains small-bubble, fizzy carbonation. The medium full body has flavors of honey, citrus rind, buttery pie crust, white pepper, and a touch of candy and resin. It finishes with notes of the pie crust, spice, and a crisp, light pine zest. Thereís a lingering funkiness in the dough batter and herb aftertaste along with some pepper.

Bottle (22 oz). Thanks to Rich for this one! Clear golden with a medium white and some lacing. Aroma is of Saison yeast, citrus, floral/herbal notes and light spiciness. Taste is yeasty with light spiciness, biscuity malt, citrus, floral/herbal notes and light bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry and citrusy finish. Simple and tasty Saison. Alcohol is well hidden. Drinkable.

Bomber from Pace High Carryout ($7.99). Gold pour with huge frothy white head that takes forever to recede. Aroma of wheat, citrus, spice, perfume, floral, hay. Tastes are grape, spice, yeasty, citrus, pepper, wheat bread, coriander. Very slight background tart. Lots going on. Little metallic vibe, but not necessarily in a bad way. Feels like a sipper but goes down easy.

From a bomber in a snifter. Nice spicy flavor, very well balanced, some hops but they are nicely muted and balanced out by the other flavors. Slight alcohol burn. Really good Saison.

650 ml bottle courtesy of josh. Thanks. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big sudsy white head that has good retention. The aroma is big with Belgian yeasts, spices, floral and white fruits. The taste is spicy and fruity with pears, peaches, pepper, coriander and citrus. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: Solid saison

The tulip glass as suggested is the perfect choice. The aroma is one the most complex I have recalled. caramel with nuts, perhaps bread as well. Bit of citrus to the hops with a floral aroma the alcohol is very well hidden. Golden color with small white head nothing spectacular. medium light bitter taste seems very sweet. full bodied beer that means business thick slick texture with a long finish. Overall probably a great beer if it is your style. Unfortunately it is not mine. I donít really care for a spiced type brew so it is my personal taste that score this so low for a quality brew
