Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks to matboz! Clear orange pour with thin white head, aroma has notes of grain, grass, hints of pear, white grape, touch of sour grain, nice earthy notes, slight caramel and crackery notes. Taste is a mix of sour acidic grain, funky earthy notes, touch of spice, grass, touch of grainy and husky notes, finishing fairly bitter, dry, slightly sweet.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, grapefruit and white grapes. Flavour of wheat, caramel, white grapes, Belgian hops, floral notes and grains. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a citrusy bitter finish with dry white grapes. Really well balanced and reminds me of Avec Les Bons Voeux.

Sampled at the brewpub. Cloudy gold. No head. Grass and yeast aroma. This is also a bit buttery as well as the above. This is quite malty and has some nice fruit. A bit of spice puts this over the top. Nice.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2011 Draft, a keg held back about 9 months at the pub, pours sweet toffee notes floral and herbal hop notes fl are very sweet and candy like with earthy grainy and spice notes. Way too sweet man rev cannot brew a decent saison. 2.9 4/13/11, a fresh draft pour rerate, seemed like a Matilda clone, big phenolic character, spicy hop and yeast notes, bit big and sweet like Matilda but tasty too. Much better fresh, aging this with Brett could do wonders.

The beer pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head, good retention and lacing. The aroma is light, a little more citrus than you would expect in a saison, with a little wheat, and a slight bitter finish. The server described as super sweet, it was sweet for a saison but not super sweet, nor do I think its a traditional saison. The taste is also pretty light starting off with some citrus, then finishes with a slight sour bitter finish. Decent feel, nice carbonation and a fine dry finish. Overall, pretty good, a sweeter take on a saison.

Draft at Revolution. Pours a glowing, slightly hazy gold with fluffy offwhite head. Nose is nice, though a touch of cloves is not quite right. Fresh hops jump out, as well as citrusy and spicy notes. On taste, it is full flavored and full bodied with notes of the spicy hops shooting through with a quenching bitterness. Finishes dry. Damn fine saison, this one.

Orange-tan, tulip glass. Dry lemon pepper aroma. Dry and sweet, with some underlying funkiness. Captures the style well, maybe leaning a little to the sweet side. Some twisted melon notes. A nice Saison, but not as nice as I remembered it being the first time. Quite peppery, yet sugary. OK.
