Sampled at the brewpub. Cloudy gold. No head. Grass and yeast aroma. This is also a bit buttery as well as the above. This is quite malty and has some nice fruit. A bit of spice puts this over the top. Nice.

Thanks to TNT for the bottle. Light body with a bit of grain. Heavy pepper and phenols in the nose. A bit of booze comes through in the flavor. Crisp and dry.

This poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was of yeast, light spices, and grassy hops, Flavor was a bit off and plasticy, spicey, and some herbal hop notes. Ok.

Orange-tan, tulip glass. Dry lemon pepper aroma. Dry and sweet, with some underlying funkiness. Captures the style well, maybe leaning a little to the sweet side. Some twisted melon notes. A nice Saison, but not as nice as I remembered it being the first time. Quite peppery, yet sugary. OK.

vyvvy (4469) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2012 - pours clear-ish yellow with a white head. The aroma has earthy yeast, rich malt and Belgian yeast fruitiness. It has a medium / full body with a mild amount of soft carbonation. The flavor starts a bit warm with earthy mushy maltiness along with the aroma traits. The finish is earthier and shows more alcohol presence than I’d like. Okay saison.

Location: Draft at Primebar, 7/1/14

Aroma: The nose is yeast and spice, some citrus/fruity notes as well
Appearance: it pours a clear golden-orange color with a small white head and lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, spice and fruit, light sweet, light-mid bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a solid mouthfeel, and a plus carbonation
Overall Impression: Solid, drinkable saison. Definitely worth trying, and makes for a nice sping/summer happy hour beer.

Pours clear yellow with a tiny head. Aroma of spices, tartish berries and fruity notes. Taste of citrusy fruits, hints of tartness and spices. Finish is smooth and slightly bitter with some spicy and tart fruity notes. Okay saison.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a gigantic puffy off-white head that makes it a pain in the butt to pour. Head lasts a long time and leaves big sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is honey, grassy, pepper, rye spiciness. Flavor is light sweet, peppery, hay, yeasty esters; a bit fruity. Dry finish, minimal bitterness. Medium light body, high carbonation.
