COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp golden ale with a delicate hop finish. This is our lightest ale and it is brewed with a bit wheat malt for body and Munich and Aromatic malts for and undertone of honey-like sweetness. Lightly dry-hopped with Cascade hops for that classic American golden ale aroma.

A pretty ho-hum brew, some light hops, a pretty mundane malt flavor, just average and then some.

Probably one of the lightest beers I had from Revolution. A crisp and smooth beer. Light and not very complex. A pretty regular golden ale.

had this on tap at revolution. Poured into a pint glass with a clear gold color and a nice foamy head balanced but kind of muted aromas of citrusí, grains and a touch of hops as well medium bodied with a very good feel. The flavors of citrus and grains do lack a bit of depth a very drinkable beer. Itís good and works as a more session type beer. It is what it is

Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2013 Draft at rev, pours clear uh, gold with small white head. Nose has a delicate soft grassy and peppery hop notes, honey malt base. Flavor has a nice simple cereal and honey malt backbone while grassy, leathery, and peppery hops cleanse the palate. Sweet finish gets annoying after a few ounces. A pretty simple, balanced golden ale only problem is it comes off pedestrian, like it was brewed at every rock bottom in the country. That may not be fair, but Iím in Logan square not the burbs. 3.4.

After a few years since my first impressions of this beer it clearly deserves a re-rate. Iím not sure if the beer changed at all or my palate or appreciation for more mild session beers has but this is a really beautiful blonde ale. Draft pour just kept me coming back for me with how wonderfully balanced and executed this beer is. Nothing really crazy about this blonde, but it seems to define the style (in a good way) very well, really enjoyable hop character thatís clean, smooth, floral, and citrusy. fermentation is very clean leaving a dry and light mouth feel, malt base has a slight honey character, simple and crisp. I could drink this beer for hours.

Tap. Pours clear dark gold with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention and good lacing. Aroma is medium malt (toast, cookie, honey), heavy hops (citrus, floral), and medium fruity esters with notes of apricot. Flavor is malty with pleasant hops and fruit notes. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation and a dry finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, golden colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly fruity with a really nice pale malt sweetness. A bit of a honey-cereal grain with some light citrus florals. Flavor is similar. Honey-cereal grain, and sweeter pale malts up front with a solid floral citrus hopping to balance. Finishes crisp, clean, and dry with at touch of grass alongside a very light bitterness and a hint of pale malt sweetness. Shorter aftertaste following a light, crisp body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an excellent golden ale. Very clean and easy drinking, but packs a solid flavor with a nice honey-cereal and floral citrus. Well done.

On tap at the brewpub - December 27, 2010. Pours a fairly-light golden color with a single-finger white head and a bit of lacing as it falls into a thin collar. The nose is a bit light and then hits fairly well with a nice hop aroma resembling the better versions of the style that Iíve encountered. Milt citrus with a bit of tangerine. The flavor is slightly-sweet with a very mild malt character as well as a touch of hop flavor. Light body with slight bitterness and a very slight sweetness as well. Really quite drinkable. 5 oz mini nonic pint sample at the brewery in Chicago, Illinois. Pour is clear golden with a limited white head. Coating lacing as the beer goes down. Aroma is delicate citrus hop along with some grass and toasted malt. Clean and pleasant nose. Taste has a nice bright orange citrus up front, along with the malt toastiness, finishing with a mineral note. Palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and a bit of a dirty finish. My kind of Golden Ale.
