crisp and refreshing IPA exploding with fresh hop character, named for a somewhat forgotten yet amazing hop variety named Crystal. A unique hopping program gives this beer a massive, clean bitterness and fresh hop aroma bursting with hints of citrus and fresh fruit.

On tap at RIBCO, pours a clear amber with an off white head, the aroma has tons of citrus and tropical fruit, the flavor has a really nice amount of citrus and grapefruit at first with a fruity finish, light and easy drinking, good stuff.

Pour from bomber, no bottled-on date. Pours a lightly-hazy amber-gold with decent, fluffy head. Awesome nose of super candy-like pink lemonade, peach, lime, and some parfumy floral notes. Flavor highlights much of the floral/foliage notes on the front as it eases into those candy flavors of lemon-lime and strawberry. Clean malt base with light-medium mouthfeel and average carbonation. Fair bit of bitterness coasting throughout, but flavors still shine. As it creeps to room temperature, flavor introduces itself coniferously and drops into a nearly Hi-C fruit punch hop flavor. I am growing very fond of this one.

Crystal Hero 22oz bottle from Aficionados. This beer pours a very hazy amber with a fine head of tiny white bubbles. Nose is prevalently floral hops with a bit of natural sweetness. Taste is clover honey with a very small amount of hops on the back end. Body is lively. Finish is just a touch of good bitters and natural honey flavor. A very nice, balanced IPA.

Poured from a 22oz bottle from my buddy Kaser Pours a hazy-ish orange color - although it is pretty clear. Strong orange aroma, but the taste makes a great impression. Very juicy and crisp at the end Going to enjoy this beer.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, clear dark orange pour with white head, aroma brought nice orange, citrus peel, slight pine into a bit of grass, some floral hops into a bit of bread. Taste was a nice mix of grapefruit, orange, citrus rinds into a bit of fruity hops, some slight floral notes into some pine, grass, some biscuit, finishing fairly bitter. Pretty tasty.
