On tap at Revolution. Straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is dank with cat pee, vegetation, pale milt and a bit of fruit tossed in. Taste is fruity and dank with grapefruit, floral hops, pale malt with sweet fruits underneath. Aggressively bitter.

22 oz. bottle, rating from notes. Pours orange with a small white head. Big, hoppy, delicious aroma focusing the crystal hop. Aroma focusing on orange, tangerine, and floral aromas. Some sweet bready malts, with touches of grass and herbal notes. Flavor is bitter, with strong citrus and herbal hop notes. Some malt notes are sensible but thatís not what this beer is about. Nice carbonation, finishes bitter and clean.

Clear golden color with ivory head. Nice floral hop, pale malt aromas. Medium body with average carbonation. Floral hop flavors with a big pale malt base brew---solid IPA

Lightly-hazy orange body, medium sized off-white head, spotty lacing. Orange hoppyness with lightly sweet malt, as well as some floral and grassy notes. Flavor shows more semi-sweet malts, as well as a jolly rancher-like citrus flavor. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, nice bitterness in the finish.

Bottle split on IPA day. Pours a clear orange/golden with light white head. Aroma is slight danky, fruity and grass. Taste is great and clean grass, hay, citrus peal, hops and slightest malt. Sweetness is minimal but just works. Revolution really puts out nice IPAs.

22 ounce bottle split between two. Just like Revolutionís Galaxy Hero, I was impressed with this single hop ipa. They did solid work building a medium bodied framework to showcase a grass and mildly juicy-fruit-pineapple flavor package. Very smooth bodied, darkish yellow and fizzy with a solid foam topper. Refreshing somewhat resiny and ripe, nicely presenting the Crystal hop note. This isnít a bold beer, but I really enjoyed its specific flavor focus. Cheers to Revolutionís Hero Series for showing how particular hops should taste.

Sample at the HSC July 4th beer tasting. This brew pours a hazy golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrusy with hops and malt in the background. Medium-bodied with a citrusy hops character and flavors of bready malt and pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a zesty citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

22oz bottle. Labeled 7.5%. Bottled May/13/13. Clear golden yellow color. Thin white head, leaves decent lace. Very nice hop-forward flavor profile. Grassy, with nice citrus in the finish. Interesting, complex hop. Definitely some fresh fruit. Maybe a hint of pineapple? Nice moderate bitter taste, lightly zesty, light sweet. Great, hop-forward IPA, while itís chilled. Getís a little sweet as it warms up, though. Some biscuity malt step forward, though thatís not necessarily bad. Good stuff overall.. Out of the 4 Revolution IPAs Iíve tried so far, this is 2nd only to Dos Osos.

Pour is hazy golden with a nice ivory head. Nose is strong hop with notes of pine and citrus rind bit is not too sweet. Flavor has nice hop bitter up front but is well balanced with some malt sweetness. There are notes of pine, grapefruit and honey. Mouthfeel is light/medium.
