Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at the HSC July 4th beer tasting. This brew pours a hazy golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrusy with hops and malt in the background. Medium-bodied with a citrusy hops character and flavors of bready malt and pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a zesty citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle: † Dated May 2013. † Hazy straw, small to moderate frothy white head, nice lacing. † Citrus and some fruity notes on the nose. † Almost tropical. † Somewhat sweet to start, candied citrus peel, with soft fruity/tropical notes. † Not real bright, but fairly sweet with a moderate hop background. † Body and mouthfeel are fairly full bodied. † A bit faded, not as bright as intended, but at 8 months old it still had some legs. † Thanks Kevin!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bomber and served in my GI IPA tulip: Pours a clean golden hue with a mostly lasting head and good lace. Dank and resiny hops, melon and grapefruit, biscuity and toffee malts, mineral and metallic vapours. The flavor profile is one note and got boring after half a bottle of dankness and oniony notes. The mouth feel is aggressive and biting.... this is nothing close to Galaxy Hero... will not buy again. Crappy hop in, crappy beer out

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft on tap at the Milwaukee Avenue Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a pretty transparent well carbonated golden hue, touches of orange glow, a bit of dullness in parts. Frothy whitish head atop stays as a mellow layer, laces ok. Lively carbonation, faint hop haze. Aromas are melon, some gentle yet growing fruit, touches of citrus, florals. A more earthy hop, slightly spritzy bibe catches me as it warms more, Bready malts, a bit of fruit, that sweet gumball element. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, firm melon and gumball, good bit oif sweeter fruit, tropical fruit elements hit. Medium bitterness, florals, some more gumball and a bit of pineapple. Bit of lemon, florals, grass. Some bready malt backbone, touches of bitterness, more lemons and florals start to take off. Bread, grass, lingering lemon and earth. A touch of spice, dryness as we round the corner. Fruity sweetness feel still keeps on trucking, really hangs on with melon and tropical fruit. Finish is more dry, grainy, mellow to decent hop presence. Some deecent florals but lacks that bitter bite. The front end seemed to promise a lot but that big bitter backend and finish never really came for me. Ok. Prefer Galaxy and Regular more.

22oz bottle. Labeled 7.5%. Bottled May/13/13. Clear golden yellow color. Thin white head, leaves decent lace. Very nice hop-forward flavor profile. Grassy, with nice citrus in the finish. Interesting, complex hop. Definitely some fresh fruit. Maybe a hint of pineapple? Nice moderate bitter taste, lightly zesty, light sweet. Great, hop-forward IPA, while itís chilled. Getís a little sweet as it warms up, though. Some biscuity malt step forward, though thatís not necessarily bad. Good stuff overall.. Out of the 4 Revolution IPAs Iíve tried so far, this is 2nd only to Dos Osos.

Bomber to pint (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; light for an IPA though. A transparent gold with foamy white head. Smells of bitter hops with some citrus too. Tastes like it smells with a good, smooth mouthfeel. Good beer.
