COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the rail line that runs along the west side of Logan Square. This American-style lager combines the robust hop character of an IPA with the crisp, smooth taste and mouthfeel of a lager. It is packed with grassy and flower-like aromas with a toasty Vienna malt backbone.

From old notes. Draft somewhere, I believe in rockford. Tropical and citrus fruits dominate with a decent malty backbone. Pretty good.

Draft at revolution brewery. Golden slight red with white head. Mild bitterness and great hops. Doesn't seem like a lager. Enjoyed this

On tap @ Revolution. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, and bready malt. Some grassy hops, a bit of floral hop character as well, and some pine. Sweet caramel malt and lots of toast on the palate. Light grassy and pine bitterness. A decent floral hoppiness. Okay.

A decent hoppy pilsner from revolution. Pours orange in color and is easy to dunk. Very bitter finish. Had at rev brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber gold with a bubbly white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of pine with hint of bitter citrus and resin backed by earthy grains. Flavor has much more of a bread and earthy grain with some earthy pine underlying.

Rating from notes. On draft at the brewpub. Pours a rich orange with an off white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, mild dough, crisp lager yeast, and floral and grassy hops. Flavor is bitter, strong fruity and hoppy bitterness. This is balanced by a fair amount of caramel and cakey malt sweetness. Full bodied, lively carbonation. Finishes with a citrus bitterness.

Very unique aroma and taste for a lager. Had it on tap at Revolution Brewery, in Logan Square - Chicago. Very earthy aroma with a subtle hop taste.

Much like a standard IPA. Tropical fruits, some herbal, citrus, pine, malt is still there.

Draft on tap at the Milwaukee Avenue Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours an amber orange hue, faint haze, lively carbonation and a nice orange alluring glow throughout. A small whitish head atop sticks as a small layer, laces as a ring. Aromas are mellow, non distinct with some earthy hops, gentle florals, bread, and faint spice. Faint hop expression, mellow sweet grainy malt bill. Dry, but not offering much. Initial is medium bodied, bready and gentle biscuity element meets a firm earthy hopping. Decent florals, spice, a bit of biscuity malt. Front end shows that decent citrusy hop, middle starts to fade out where a grainy and biscuit malt feel, bready elements stick around. For it’s ABV size, it is well hidden. But the beer itself doesn’t offer a ton of of hops like it’s advertised. As it warms, a but more expression rounds out the backend and finish. Mellow citrus rind but really more floral overall. Bit of grapefruit, spice, soap, and easy going body as we move back. Finish is a touch sweet, spice, with some of that floral feel lingering. Ok.
