COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double Pale Ale with juicy citrus hop flavor from Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Chinook hops. We started with the idea of doubling-down on our Iron Fist pale ale recipe, made a few tweaks and ended up with this great beer. Although the name says otherwise, we recommend one at time.

Aroma: citrus, herbs and biscuits. Appearance: clear amber color and amazing thin white head. Taste: medium herba bitterness, citrus notes, biscuits, nice malty backbone, balanced, semi-dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Decent DIPA, quite drinkable.

Bottle @ home. Nice amber color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly but leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly grapefruit. Taste malts, grapefruit, hops, hop bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

On tap at Revolution. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of hops, mandarin, caramel and warming alcohol. Also notes of medicine. Not that impressed by this beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Huge citrus on the nose, sticky malt, pineapple. Medium bodied, smooth and not as sweet our sticky as the nose would suggest. Pineapple, grapefruit, malt and citrus. Slow sweet finish with sticky malt and slow grapefruit.

4 oz. pour during a tasting on 11-21-15. Bottled October 3. Thanks to falco242. Pours a mostly clear, hazy copper with beige head. Apricot, peach, and pineapple scents; very fruity aroma. Molasses flavor. Malty start; hoppy finish. Very dry in finish. Lively in the palate. Full body. Quite good beer but the flavor is too simplistic for it to cross into very good.

Bomber courtesy of Falco242. Unique aroma with dark fruit aspects. Tastes different than it smells. Really tasty. Almost too hoppy to be an American strong but has more American strong qualities than double IPA or double pale qualities. Outstanding.

Bottle from Vin Bin. Pours out a deep medium amber color with a frothy light tan head that settles to a medium lace. Big pine, earth and herbal aromas. Flavor is of muddle bitterness with a sweet malty backbone. Nothing mind-blowing, but very decent overall.

Pours clear mahogany into a snifter. Off-white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Tropical fruit and pine aromas. Thick with pine and caramel front to back. Medium length tropical fruit finish.
