COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double Pale Ale with juicy citrus hop flavor from Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Chinook hops. We started with the idea of doubling-down on our Iron Fist pale ale recipe, made a few tweaks and ended up with this great beer. Although the name says otherwise, we recommend one at time.

This is one of my all time favorite ALL time! A little light for the style, but the nose is one of the best I have had, great taste, awesome! The only thought is how light it is for what you would expect. Great brewery, great name, awesome brew!

Had on tap Brixieís while waiting for the Parabola keg to get tapped. Served in a snifter. A: Pours a solid golden orange color with some yellowish colored head forming on the pour. It recedes to a decent ring and leaves some sticky lace. S: Tropical fruits and apricot jam are mainly on the nose. The finish is lightly rounded out with some bready malts. T: Nice orange and tangerine. Sweet marmalade. Some grass and bittering pine as well. Cracker malt sweetness on the finish. M: Medium bodied, a little sticky, with a medium carbontion level. Nice sweet finish. O: I definitely enjoyed this. The abv is at the perfect point and is well hidden. Definitely digging the sweet and tropical fruit notes. 22 oz bomber. Super hoppy for a pale ale even if itís a double. Hops show through. Cleanses palate, smooth to drink.

Bottle. Pours a nice dark copper with no head. Aroma is a variety of hops. Flavor matches the aroma with tons of nice, balanced hops. A very drinkable double IPA. This is a great beer. Really really enjoyable.

Really good double pale ale. Revolution has quickly become my favorite brewery in Chicago. This is a serious contender for my favorite beer. Really hoppy with lots of citrus on the nose. Grapefruit, pineapple, some kiwi and a brown sugar or honey aroma. It pours a deep, cloudy copper and starts with a nice fluffy head that leaves lots of thick lacing behind. Itís a medium to thick bodied beer and a bit oily feeling. First thing you notice when you sip this is the heavy citrus accents and he hops which arenít overwhelmingly bitter. They donít leave an astringent or bitter aftertaste. You get lots of fruit and honey or brown sugar and lots of caramel at the front and some lingering citrus hops on the back end. All good though. I canít say enough good things about this and the only bad thing is that Iím out of it and need to go get more. Drink this if you like the style and I promise youíll enjoy it.

On tap at Brew Pub. Pours a slightly cloudy brassy gold color with underneath two fingers of off white foamy head. Major hops aroma with loads of citrus and spicy pinealong with a faint hint of brown sugar. Very hop forward bitterenss with some earthy spice in the taste with a slight amount of citrus. A pungent, robustness to the oily hop flavor. Super dry, medium body, with medium to low carbonation. Alcohol is well-hidden, and the finish contains lots of thick coating hop resins.

Draft. Crystal clear amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, light grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit. Medium body, some alcohol, resin, stickiness.

Aroma is pine, malts and then very grassy. The flavor is very grassy hops, citrus, malts and a long and bitter finish. Between an IPA and a DIPA, a great ale regardless of the definition.

Bottle. First offering Iíve tried from RBC. Pours a hazy, amber-orange with a nice fluffy head, excellent retention and lacing. Nose is resinous and pineapple. Mouth is piney and tropical fruit, medium bodied and a dry finish. Slight warmth from the alcohol. I like this one a lot.
