COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double Pale Ale with juicy citrus hop flavor from Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Chinook hops. We started with the idea of doubling-down on our Iron Fist pale ale recipe, made a few tweaks and ended up with this great beer. Although the name says otherwise, we recommend one at time.

Bottle from Josh: pours clear amber, frothy, bubbly head that recedes. Nose: spicy herbal hops, fresh and green wet hops, caramel malts. Flavors, resinous pine, wet and herbal hops, mild malt sweetness to balance. Medium bodied with long resinous bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear copper color. Good white head. Musty danky aroma. Good lace. Powerful malty backbone with.a lot of hops piled on top. Full taste but could seem a little harsh.

Bottle courtesy of Vin at Franks, Oct 2012. Pours a copper amber body with white head and lacing. Aroma is bitter grapefruit, dry citrus fruits, astringent hop resin and pine. Mouthfeel is medium, bitter and dry with notes of bitter grapefruit, orange peel, resin, floral flavor and pine.

Excellent pale ale that is really more like an IPA. Not as citrusy as its description says. It has more resiny hops in my opinion (makes sense with the ones used to make it).

Bomber from the corner store down the street. Pours clear orange with small white head. Aromas of sweet malt, grapefruit, orange, and a little pine. Flavors of bitter hops, grapefruit, light pine, and good dose of sweet malts. Nice balance of bitter hops and sweet malts. This is a DIPA in my opinion and pretty good one at that.

This is one of my all time favorite ALL time! A little light for the style, but the nose is one of the best I have had, great taste, awesome! The only thought is how light it is for what you would expect. Great brewery, great name, awesome brew!

Had on tap Brixie’s while waiting for the Parabola keg to get tapped. Served in a snifter. A: Pours a solid golden orange color with some yellowish colored head forming on the pour. It recedes to a decent ring and leaves some sticky lace. S: Tropical fruits and apricot jam are mainly on the nose. The finish is lightly rounded out with some bready malts. T: Nice orange and tangerine. Sweet marmalade. Some grass and bittering pine as well. Cracker malt sweetness on the finish. M: Medium bodied, a little sticky, with a medium carbontion level. Nice sweet finish. O: I definitely enjoyed this. The abv is at the perfect point and is well hidden. Definitely digging the sweet and tropical fruit notes. 22 oz bomber. Super hoppy for a pale ale even if it’s a double. Hops show through. Cleanses palate, smooth to drink.
