COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double Pale Ale with juicy citrus hop flavor from Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Chinook hops. We started with the idea of doubling-down on our Iron Fist pale ale recipe, made a few tweaks and ended up with this great beer. Although the name says otherwise, we recommend one at time.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2013 Had it on tap at Revolution Brewery, poured a thin yellowish head and clear amber hues with slight lacing, and a subtly sweet hop aroma! The taste is strong hop with a sweet finish. Tasty!

22. Pours a cloudy dark amber with rubied edges and a big creamy tan head that falls quickly away to a light film. Big candied orange nose, sweet and sticky, lots of residual malts knocking around as a caramel topping. Thick heavy body. Soft carb. Heavy caramel mid palate with a nice orange peel finish, washing out into a resiny grapefruit aftershock. Big, heavy, bruising, but not bad at all.

On tap. The bar was dimly lit but this looked to have an orange red appearance. Nice hop aroma some citrius and pine. Bit of sweet malt at thr end. Easy to drink, dances the line between a single and double ipa.

Tap at the soure. Thin slightly off-white head, darker copper orange that’s a little hazy. Grapefruit hoppiness, some grassiness and resin with some caramel sweetness in the aroma. Flavor is more herbal, grassy and weedy with some hint of scallion. Not sweet and finishes fairly dry. Medium oily body.
