12 oz can, Andersons. Dark cola pour; one-finger almost-fizzy brown head dissipates into nothing; nearly no lacing; lightly glass-coating upon swirling. Cola, black malt, chocolate, brown sugar, light roast. Nothing is terribly intense about this but it is full-flavored and full-bodied, and reasonably complex.

Pour is black with a bubbly two-finger wide white head. Aroma is of toasted and roasty malts, some light fleeting sweetness, and a touch of coffee. Flavor is well balanced but leans towards the bitter coffee notes. Vanilla and chocolate are also present but subdued. A bit harsh, alcohol shines through.

Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. This could be a great daily drinker.

Canned. Dark brown, essentially black, with a grand dark tan head that is pillowy and long lasting. Strong dark chocolate nose with medium-roast coffee atop pecans and lightly sweet raisins. Moderately sweet flavor with notes of toasted grains, dark bakers cocoa, hazelnut spread, light coffee and licorice. Dusty finish. Solid porter.
