4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had it on tap at Revolution Brewery. What a delightful whiff of a floral citrus bouquet, as they describe. Whisper thin head a golden clear hue. The taste is hop bitter rock n roll. A damn good brewski!

Orange body with a nice, white head. The aroma is huge on grapefruit, with some nice floral and caramel notes in the background. The flavor has a nice balance to it, but still has a large amount of hops. This is one of the best ipa’s I’ve had in a long time.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big grapefruity hop aroma, pours a clear light amber, with a white head. This is a hop monster, hitting with bitterness, some floral notes, and a touch of grapefruit in the finish. Light bodied, fairly high carbonation. This is a solid IPA, and shows what two good breweries working together can accomplish.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2013 22oz bomber thanks to JohnGonk. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thick lingering fluffy white head. Big aroma of grapefruit, citrus, and pine. Taste is full of grapefruit, and pine bitterness, with a nice malty backbone. Well balanced. Nice collaboration

Pours a clear copper golden color with a nice small head. Nose is fresh citrus and pine. Taste is nothing but flavor, deep rich citrus with pine and balanced bitterness and sweetness. Finishes well on the same notes, unfortunately this had to be shared with my two sons, dam it. quaff score 8 / 10 , hey T Monk right behind us again. Cheers CCEX !!

FINALLY, a Revolution brew I can get excited about (they need a little Firestone in ’em. . . ).
First, I love a beer that keeps you guessing, and this one pours straw colored with minimal carbonation, basically masquerading as a session ale or something. . .
And then you smell what may be one of the most pronounce peach notes ever smelled in an IPA. Game on.
The taste, likewise, completely betrays the appearance-- this is a big DIPA with nice sharp (invisible) carbonation. Also, not very fruity or sweet on taste, so that nose is all nose.
Very drinkable, although I kept on looking down thinking someone must have switched my beer, because what I tasted is not a straw colored flat ale.
Good show. I’m buying more just for the peach notes.

A winning collaboration. Easy to drink with tons of citrus and floral bitterness backed by a sturdy malt taste. Grapefruit and orange bitterness. Being super fresh probably helped but damn tasty. Makes me want to try more Steve brews.
