Poured an rosy amber colour with a 1 inch head that lift minimal lacing. Aroma is malty and hoppy with faint notes of ginger and orange. Flavor is quite malty with orange, nutmeg, ginger, and piney hops. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation and a crisp finish with minimal bitterness. Very drinkable.

Fresh can served in a tulip. The beer pours a hazy ruby copper with a thick off white head that sticks around a while and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is very complex. Pine, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, and what I can only describe as a lemon ginger cookie. This beer smells awesome. Taste is cinnamon, nutmeg, and holiday spices up front. There are also citrus flavors that remind me of the rind of an orange as well as grapefruit and lemon zest. Pine flavors linger as well as a sweet, toffee like malt background. The flavor lingers well and makes me want to drink more. I usually do not like spiced beers, but this is amazing.

Delightful Christmas time ale that includes all the notes that are accustom to the season with a balanced hop and malt.

This is a unique one. Strong orange and cinnamon start with a hoppy finish. A Better Xmas ale than most. Pours deep copper with a tan head. Had out of a can at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can. Orange color with a medium head. Aroma of cinnamon and pine. The taste is very different. A mix between pine and orange peels. It isn’t bad and it a unique taste.

I am not sure what to compare this to. An unusual Christmas ale is part Belgian, part winter warmer, and part gingerbread house. The combination is solid although it lacks the presence of Great Lakes Christmas Ale or some other high gravity seasonals.

Aroma / Appearance - The carbonated base bubbles with activity. The color of warm molasses it has a dusky ambiance and cool vanilla head. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and seasonal winter spices are a bit boozy. Nothing backs it up though; it is just that feel of ethanol. Minty undertones are not expected at all.

Flavor / Palate - The taste of spicy cola, nutmeg, and iced tea are a strange blend of winter and spring. Refreshing with a light transition the biggest woe is a medicinal tang that hangs in the throat. While reasonable the small flaws here or there detract from the promise of a reliable winter warmer.

Not sure I’ve had anything to compare it to, and it doesnt really taste spicy at all, however it was actually just a great beer, one of the only "seasonal" beers i would ever get again. It was good and hoppy, pretty nice citrusy flavor to it.

Draft to sampler copper color. Nose spice, ginger, and sweet malt. Tannic woody up front. Almost whisky barrel. Then sweet malt. Light finish.
