Pours a clear, darker golden with an average white head. Aroma is what you would usually expect from this style. There is a good blend of pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. I do find a bit of caramel notes in here as well. The taste is dry and bitter. I get some pine, but more fruity flavors. Grapefruit, mango, and orange, melon, perhaps a bit of kiwi as well. Aftertaste is pine, melon, and mango. Medium bodied, sticky in texture, and lots of lively carbonation. I find this crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink, with all of the IPA goodness without the crippling punch. I’m impressed with this one.

Clear orange pour with a white head. Tropical fruit hops in the nose. Really nice hops, nice malty backbone.

On draft. Somewhat cloudy burnt yellow with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, melon, and bubblegum. Taste is pine and grapefruit up front, met with juicy citrus malts and bits of caramel and toffee. Palate is thin to medium bodied and quenching. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours a golden amber with a very slight haze; soft, off-white, lasting head. Aromas of citrus, melon, peach. Moderately bitter; some fruitiness mid-palate; dry, bitter finish.

Draft. From notes. Nothing heroic about this, more like mild mannered middle management. Some nice citrus hops but not nearly what I was expecting. Way Over hyped.

A very pleasant, session able, creamy texture here for a beer that straddles the line between pale ale and IPA. Nothing extravagant yet nothing out of balance, with citrus malt flavors balanced by a pleasant hop backbone.

A hazed golden amber DIPA with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with loads of grassy and pungent Galaxy hops, light treacle, pleasant and complex. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light pungent character, light alcohol warmth, very nice. Bomber at Lalo’s, Midway Airport.

Enjoyed on tap at Reggies in Chicago, IL before my high school punk band is playing a reunion show. Appearance is clearish gold with not much head. Aroma is citrusy, light, but smells good. Taste is pretty good, light hoppy profile. Enjoyable.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Dry with caramel upfront turning quickly to resin and citrus.

Sample at 69 Taps. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, mango and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
