Pours a clear, darker golden with an average white head. Aroma is what you would usually expect from this style. There is a good blend of pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. I do find a bit of caramel notes in here as well. The taste is dry and bitter. I get some pine, but more fruity flavors. Grapefruit, mango, and orange, melon, perhaps a bit of kiwi as well. Aftertaste is pine, melon, and mango. Medium bodied, sticky in texture, and lots of lively carbonation. I find this crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink, with all of the IPA goodness without the crippling punch. I’m impressed with this one.

Bottled. Clear orange-amber with a smallish white head. Strong hop nose is a mix of fruity peach and nectarine and piney, sticky spruce. Mild-to-moderate bitterness with some mild, stone fruit sweetness to balance it out. Rather quaffable, somewhat subdued. Finely carbonated, slick in texture.

Bomber! Pours a deep golden amber with a light tan head. The smell is pine resin, citrus, caramel, some pineapple. The taste is pine resin, light caramel, grapefruit ending dry and a bit bitter. Full bodied and oily, fine carbonation and smooth.

Bottle share from JT clockwork. Yellow pour, little bit of white head, aroma tropical fruit, sweet malts and a touch of pine. Taste, mild sweetness up front, a little bit of hopness, finishes slight sweet. Solid.

Location: Draft at Franklin Tap, 6/17/14

Aroma: This one has a nice fruity and resiny nose, hoppy, with some underlying malts
Appearance: This beer pours a slightly hazed orange with a whispy white head
Flavor: It has a fruity hop flavor, with a nice bitterness as well
Palate: The body is medium, and the mouthfeel is crisp, clean, and easy drinking
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty nice example of the stlye. It is drinkable and has a nice hop presence. I enjoyed it. Another nice beer from Revolution.

Attractive golden color out of the bottle with a foamy off white head. Nice bright tropical fruit and orange citrus hop nose. This is as billed with lots of tropical fruit, candied orange peel, tangerine and hop resin with a long, dry, bitter finish.

An outstanding IPA. Lot of passion fruit and mango. Great dry finish. Beautiful glowing clear tan color. No head on my pour. Could drink on a regular basis. Bravo! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
