On tap @ the brewpub. Light orange, clear, low white head. Ripe soft fruits, light pine, lightly toasty malts. Very good, but I liked the Fist City better.

5oz on tap at the brewery. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Good tropical fruity hop aroma, light spicy hop... A bigger amount of hop. Light pine, some orange citrus. Light caramel bready malt. Moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Good drinkable refreshing hoppy yet balanced pale ale.

Pours cloudy amber with low white head. Aroma of caramel, rye, light citrus. Taste is light hoppy citrusy followed by fairly big malt sweet. Light, smooth body.

Damico (2649) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2014
Pours slightly translucent honey orange amber with a lacey white head. Aroma brings sweet hops and some grapefruit and a hint of honey. Flavor of citrus hops, suggesting grapefruit, on a balanced dry body that settles well on the tongue, smooth with no hop bite.

Location: Draft at the brewpub, 7/16/14

Aroma: the nose has some grapefruit/citrus, some caramel, and a little butterscotch
Appearance: The pour is an amber color, some off-white head, and some light lacework
Flavor: The taste is much the same, decent hop notes, malts, and a bit of sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with an okay mouthfeel, average carbonation
Overall Impression: This one wasn’t a favorite for me. It is a solid enough example of a style, but just not one that quite hit the mark for my expectations.

On tap @ Revolution. Amber pour with a white head. Huge butterscotch and buttered popcorn aromas. A bit of herbs, caramel, and lemon and orange peels. Pretty gross. Flavor is huge on the butter as well. Just sweet and buttery. Light herbal and citrus hops, some light bitterness, and lots of bread and popcorn.

hayduke (3423) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 9, 2014
This was a sampler at the brewpub in Chicago on Milwaukee Ave. It came in the glass red-ambre with a white head. Nose of hops and more hops, on a caramel malt base. Medium body. The flavor is the malts and citrus and pine. Not much bitterness in the finish but lots of flavor. Really nice APA.

jandd1983 (2684) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 8, 2014
Sampled at the brewpub. It poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was of hops, citrus, pine, caramel and malts. The taste was of bitter hops, citrus, pine and some caramel with sweet malts. Nice.

Strykzone (5042) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2014
Sampled at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Light off white foam and lacing. A honey first aroma. Floral. First sip is zingy and fruity. Gentle. Soft pale or crystal malts. Fruit is nice and builds in the after taste. A pleasant beer.
