I liked this one, from the start the aroma gave off a soft cocoa aroma with some light roasted malts as well. This sweet stout is very creamy and full of dark chocolate flavors, leading to a smooth bitter finish. Thanks for the share - you know who you are.

Thanks for the share, Markwise. Nose is chocolate/cocoa, some light roast, and a faint sweetness. Pour is dark brown. Tan head. Taste is sweet roasted malt with some nice cocoa and chocolate flavors. Sweet and delicious.

Thin-ish body from the pour, certainly brown (not black) in color. Good lace, not much head. Some lacto sugars in the nose, though they are entirely absent in the taste. A pretty good (basic) stout, nothing special here.

growler. aroma is sharp chocolate, general roast, seems balanced immediately. flavor is sizzling cocoa and only a trace of the sweetness expected, easily quaffable and devoid of cloying notes. mushy chocolate pleases.

Bottle from atom. Pours a deep brown with thin khaki head. Aroma is light roast coffee with minimal milk chocolate. Taste is light cocoa milk with a thin coffee bean. Overall the silky milk makes this but a little thin in the mouth.

Dark pour with an espresso head. Aroma of grain. Creamy mouth. Taste is sweet and roasty. Nice balance.

Bomber pours an opaque dark brown with small tan head and some lacing. Not much to smell, but aroma is full of roasted malts, some coffee, and a bit of vanilla in a the finish. Body is medium without too much carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet and mouthfeel is creamy. A good, stout from a favorite local brewer.

Pitch black pour with lively off white head. Nose mainly of roast and coffee. Taste if roast, coffee, and chocolate. A little to heavy on carb but creamy. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from beer frig at lake...pours black with nose and initial taste of chocolate and coffee...thin tan head with nice lacing. Sweet and smooth...a little thin for a typical stout but creamy overall / smooth taste make up for it...smooth and tasty.

On-tap. A - Dark black color with a large, creamy, foamy, thick, khaki head. Good retention with a thick creamy layer of lace. S - Good amount of roasted dark and milk chocolate and malt with touches of coffee and caramel. A sweet lactose aroma also comes out, but it isn’t overly strong for a Milk Stout. T - Similar to the nose with a good balance of sweet lactose and sweet creaminess along with the roasted chocolate and malt. Hints of vanilla also come out. Some roasted coffee and caramel and a touch of earthiness. It tastes somewhere between a typical Milk Stout and a regular stout with a good level of lactose sweetness but also has a touch of a roasted/bitterness to it. M - Medium body that is a touch thin for the style and ABV but not bad. Good amount of carbonation with a smooth and creamy feel. D - Very drinkable beer with a great mix of roasted flavors and sweet lactose. Different kinds of chocolate/cocoa flavors come out. Well balanced beer. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, but gives a slight warming. Notes: A very nice Milk Stout that has a great balance between the sweet lactose aspects and the more bitter roasted chocolate aspects. Definitely worth a try.
