Sweet, chocolate roasted malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor, with some allspice-like spiciness. Thanks, Sledutah...

On tap at the brewpub.
Pours a deep, inky black that allows only shades of dark chestnut along the edges. A creamy off-white head sits atop the ink for nearly the duration of the drinking session. Aroma is a bit faint but gives up roast grain, a little chocolate, a dose of vanilla, a tiny hint of oak, and a smidgen of dried dark fruits. Flavor is crunchy bitter-roast grains tempered by sweet chocolate, cream, lactose, a bit of vanilla, and yep, thereís that tiny touch of dried fruits again. Palate is thick and creamy with a roast-grain aftertaste. Quite drinkable.

A lactose-heavy milk stout. Very sweet, but supported by roasty bitterness and hints of chocolate. Full body. Nice, comforting.

Pour deep brown with tan head. Taste has toffee and malt with lactose sugar prevelant. Smooth but kind of bland, not the best milk stout out there.

poured from tap at the brewpub. Poured into a snifter and pours a dark chocolate color with a nice chocolatey head. well balanced with pungent aromas of malts, milk chocolate, and coffee beans. There is nice depth to it as well. Full bodied with the feel being the real show. Very smooth and fairly classy as well with flavors of milk chocolate, malts and some roasted notes as well. This is pretty damn good. Itís been a while since it was on tap and I didnít fully remember it. Hopefully this sticks around a bit longer.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Pretty good milk stout. Has all the right aroma and flavor notes. This is just another example of a great beer by Revolution. Lots of cocoa and dark chocolate on the nose and in the flavor. Itís a thick, rich beer that pours with a very fluffy brown head with lots of lacing. Goes down smooth but has some kick.

Bomber. black with a small light foamy head. Thin but creamy body. Milk chocolate with light coffee, and roasty bitter finish. Pretty good - light, refreshing and drinkable.

Smooth, rich, dark and full of rich chocolate and bourbon. A nose of warm vanilla with a slight boozy undertone. A sticky, sweet texture and just a pleasure to drink. It was the best beer offered last Saturday at the Half Acre On Photon party, Revolution gets two big thiumbs up from this guy!
