UPDATED: MAY 30, 2013 Tasted on tap at Revolution. Beautiful amber color with a solid off white head that settled a bit like a stout right after it was served.. A truly smooth butter with a malty backbone.

Creamy frothy head, like a guiness. Smooth, low carbonation, like on nitro but not. Good bitter. A little sweet. Like the malt presence but wish it finished a little less sweet. Good hop malt balance.

Pull from Adam’s pour at the brewpub. Thanks to TheAlum. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small off-white head. Very light aroma. Toast, nuts, some brown sugar, and even some tart fruits late on the palate, but just a hint. That was odd. Light-bodied, with a dry, toasty mouthfeel before the unusual transition. Modest carbonation. Not bad.

pours a medium amber/brown color with a small head (though it was filled to the top).
nice aromas of toffee, caramel, some bitter hops and grains. Balanced with nice depth.
Medium bodied with a nice feel but lacking some depth. Nice flavors of grains, toffee, and caramel.
A solid bitter, but lacking some depth on the feel. Decent, but a bit disappointing in a sense (though much better than the village green from last year).

On tap at Revolution. Pours a clear orange with an orange hue and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and toffee with some grassy hops with a hint of sweetness. Flavor has earthy grain with a bit of grassy hops and flora with a bit of underlying bitterness.
