Rosie Alt.
A highly drinkable ale steeped with hibiscus flowers and a touch of orange peel for a natural tartness and slight pink hue.

Pours a clear, reddish-amber color with a pink head that dissipates. Had a lemony, grassy aroma. That did not translate to the taste. Really sweet all the way down, like artificially so. Sticky mouthfeel, and medium bodied. I will not drink this again.

The slightly red color was a redeemimg feature where the overall portrait is decidedly negative: a plain caramel aroma gives way to a sweet cardboard caramel flavor. Not good. Tap in Chicago.

Draft. Pours amber red with a white head. Plain, mild, and relatively clean. Mild floral notes and just a touch of sweetness. Pleasant.

Pours an amber color with a pink hue and a pink head. Aroma is sweet of the caramel malts. Not much else on the aroma. Flavor is the same. Not getting the hibiscus either.

On tap at Whirlyball in Vernon Hills on the twins 21st. Reddish orange pour with a pink head. Aroma has florals, tangy fruits, spices. Taste is tangy, sweet, light. Decent but not worth repeating. 11.8

can @ Firehouse Grill / Cincinnati OH --- Clear, rose-colored amber, thin rim head, no lace. Very still, like wine. Taste is somewhat fizzy light malt with flowery overtones aided by some sweetening on the swallow. Not a normal beer profile of any style, with the additional penalty of a thin, watery quality. Not for me.

On tap at Simone’s, pours a a brownish/Amber with a thin pinkish grey head. Caramel aroma sweet and fruity lightly flowery. Taste like a poor flat Amber ale, with light hibiscus. Meh.

On tap. Pours reddish with a pink head. Aroma is of spice, flowers, and fruit. Taste is of floral notes, spice, and a slight funkiness. Lingering tartness. Mouthfeel is light. Drinks very easy. Tasty, but weird.

On tap at hopleaf. Dark purple appearance, quite distinct. Hibiscus nose, quite pleasant. Thin mouthfeel coupled with thin flavor. This is fine, probably perfect on a hot day.

Light red pour with a white head. Aroma is floral. Taste is floral. I guess hibiscus since this is my first time trying hibiscus. Light orange flavor in the finish. Sweet flavor.
