3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
on tap @ Farmhouse in Chicago. Bright pink-orange colour, minimal head. Aroma is yeasty and perfumey. Flavours of pale malts and subtle hibiscus flowers. Pretty light. DDC makes a more nuanced and refreshing hibiscus ale.

Grain and bread malts, floral hops. Clear amber, small, frothy, off-white head. Medium bitter. Floral hops continue, bitterness intensifies. Nice aroma but palate is a bit a miss. Keg at brewpub, Chicago.

Drinking this from the can provided by friend Todd S, so canít really attest as to its appearance. Donít think it makes much difference as the flavor just doesnít work on any level - sticky sweet caramel hibiscus tart.

Ugh... Red forest fruits / red berries, with a slight vegetal / medicinal note in the finish. Not completely disgusting, but if I never have to drink this again, Iíll be fine with it.

I wasn't sure what this was going to be like, but it turned out to be sort of a herbal tea beer with a little red berry in it. Nice.

*Notes* Pours a pale red with a small head with a sweet citrusy floral aroma. Iíve never ate a flower but when I say it has a flowery taste i assume that is what a flower tastes like. A thin beer that was just ok.

Light rosa color, small head. Light medium flowery nose, light grassy taste. Doesn't hurt, doesn't make me wanna drink it again.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Battleship. Pours a clear reddish color with a thick off white head. Aroma is pretty weak. Hops, malts, grain, and some sweetness are present. Carbonated palate. Flavor is the same. Maybe a little corn is their as well. Leaves a slightly bitter dry hopped finish. Ehh.

Draught at Burgermania. Gentle flavor of cherry with floral notes, light but enjoyable, specially when wisely paired with a wonderful Cherry Burger.
