A highly drinkable ale steeped with hibiscus flowers and a touch of orange peel for a natural tartness and slight pink hue.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a medium pinkish-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. The aroma is floral and fruity. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, floral hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet with a short berry aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Pours a clear, reddish-amber color with a pink head that dissipates. Had a lemony, grassy aroma. That did not translate to the taste. Really sweet all the way down, like artificially so. Sticky mouthfeel, and medium bodied. I will not drink this again.

Reddish pink pour. I get some tart hibiscus notes which then fade into a strange fake candy flavor, wheat notes, yeast. Fun to try but not amazing.

Pinkish red with a small white head. Light honey aroma with very light hibiscus flower. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter flavor with some lightly metallic (copper) notes. Barely flowery, a bit sugary sweet with some light malt and very mild peppery spice. Meh.

Poured from draft at sheffields. Red clear and no head at all. Has a sweet candy taste to it. Fruity. Kind if like a cider beer. Just ok

12oz can, shared by Jay. Clear sort of pink red / orange color. Like a rose. Little white head. Little loose lace. Medium body, lighter crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Some floral, lightly herbal aspect to it. Some light citrus. Little hop. Light sweet, less bitter. Solid for what it is. A unique summer quencher.

Can. It pours a firey orange/red with an ever so slightly pink tinted foamy head. It smells like an american pale lager in the best way possible. Floral, grainy, hint of rose. The flavor is like a really good malt liquor. Seriously I’m not sure I understand this beer. It is metallic, sweet, creamy malt, decent hops. Good but weird.

Can : Pour is murky medium golden amber; perhaps a hint of pink here ; seen in the head. Its a one finger fine bubbled white/pink head, light lacing, average retention: the nose is caramel, florals, biscuits, and.... minerals. The flavor profile provides a modest mouth feel, mild sweetness, with some florals present from the flower addition. This brew, however , is mediocre. It lacks depth, it lacks substance, but after doing manual labor like I just did, it went down nicely.

Fruity in the sense that it has a lot of berry fruitiness to it. Color is weird, since it looks pink, but looks red in the glass. Tastes kinda like grape Kool-Aid. Overly sweet, but I suppose hibiscus could do that to a beer. I’m drinking my second one, so it’s not an off putting sweetness.

Pours a very bright, clear red with a white head that fades rather quickly. The aroma is very yeasty, but does have some bit of floral and herbal impressions as well. Its odd. The taste is on the sweeter side. It is fruity and slightly tart, containing raspberry and strawberry. I continue to find floral elements. Aftertaste is short with raspberry. Medium body, slickish in texture, with some soft carbonation. This one is very unusual. It starts off ok, but the more I drink it, it reminds me of cough syrup.
