4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Served in a pint glass. The beer pours a lightly hazy golden orange with tons of thick cream colored head that leaves nice lacing as it shrinks down. Tons of rye in the nose, as well as pine, citrus, and toasted biscuit. Taste is very juicy up front. Lots of tropical fruit flavors that, based on the nose I was not expecting. There is some pine and citrus in there, as well as rye, just not as much as on the nose. Iím getting a lot of caramel as well. Mouthfeel is about average and the flavors really cling to the roof of your mouth and tongue. This is an awesome beer as usual. Iíve come to expect the best from Revolution.

From the bomber, clear orange. Nice fruit flavor with spicy tongue and bitter at the end. Alcohol content is solid. I really like that someone finally made a beer in tribute the legendary punk band "Fear". I hope they at least sent a case of bombers to Lee Ving in the dust ward for inspiring this beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into clear orange color with aromas of light rye and citrus, light malt and a touch of hops. Flavors are rye and citrus hops. The rye is subtle and not over the top, nice hops and citrus notes. Decent overall would like to try this as a fresh bottle could he even better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nearly clear orange to dark gold pour with a one finger, soapy o creamy off white head. Aroma is caramel, toast, soapy, floral and citrus notes. Flavor is caramel, sweet cereal, floral, berry, a little cardboard, faint citrus and a hint of herbal/spicy notes. Medium body, creamy to chewy entry, light to medium, blanketing carbonation and off dry, slightly boozy finish. Decent, but plain and sweet IPA, really no rye presence as far as I could tell.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is another tasty IPA from the good folks at Revolution. Itís pretty much clear and orange golden in color w/ a foamy head that lasts a goodly amount of time. The hop character in the nose is all sweet orange peel and peaches but a touch of sweetness seems to bring out some deeper woody pine notes when you taste it. This is a full bodied brewed and this combined w/ that bit of sweetness makes this drink almost like a IIPA or anyway this isnít one of the most drinkable IPAs on the planet. Still, itís pretty nicely balanced w/ a good dose of earthy bitterness in the finish and overall it has an enjoyable hop-profile to my taste buds. This maybe isnít a must try for hop heads but certainly thereís no reason to pass it up if you run into it.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a clear orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is floral hop and pine. Medium mouth with strong rye, nice hop bite, lingering dry bitterness, very good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Weilands in Clintonville. Copper-orange pour with white-ish head. Aroma of rye, herbal, grapefruit. Tastes of grass, earthy, spice, herbal, crackery, rye, juicy. Moderate floral bitter in the finish. Rye heavy not usally my favorite, but w/ Revolution itís always well balanced and nicely constructed. Really liking this new (to me) brewer. This one is very nice, but not something Iíd have to revisit.
