3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kevinator (321) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2013
This one gets points from me for being unique in that it added a nice twist with the blood orange. The citrus is what stood out in the aroma. The color was a cloudy yellow that fit the style and was almost like a witbier. The wheat character was present in the overall taste of the beer but again the sharp citrus that’s part of the blood orange was upfront. It was almost like a hop essence. Honey was there but came up later. Medium to light weight on the palate. It went well with chili.

The Londoner in Allen, TX.
Not so great. Almost a butterscotch smell. Drank like a light beer with not enough palate impact.

Had on tap at a plethora of Fort Worth locales. Pours fairly clear, with a light golden color. Easy head. Great aroma of citrus, orange and light honey. Flavor matches with a greater intensity. Bartender told me I would never go back to Blue Moon. I need to finish our round of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
