COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Caramel and toffee notes bring a full and satisfying body to this classic style. Northern Brewer and Willamette hops balance the sweetness of the malt.

Pours a dark copper with a decent sized off white head that left plenty of lacing. The aroma is rather sweet up front with caramel and toffee. I also pick up some dark fruits as well and they are more prevalent as the beer warmed up. The taste is rather sweet, the chocolate/caramel/toffee notes are picked up right away. You also pick up some of the dark fruits and a mild hop bite to it. I really enjoyed this beer!

Really good looking clear red brown pour with a lasting tan head. Aroma is nutty, toffee, and toast. Taste is toast, toffee, and nuts, but I got an odd sharp metallic note in the finish (present in a couple different bottles). Would be pretty nice otherwise. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Pours dark mahogany with a small tan head. Smells malty, hints of fruit and caramel. Taste is sweet, a hint of bitterness, and lots of fruitiness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Revolver Bock finishes with a lingering fruitiness.

Deep Russet brown with amber highlights, tan head. Nose is caramel, coco and a hint of cherries. Sweet. Middle is dark honey, dark malt. Finish is a little chewy, a little boozy, and somewhat drier than the rest.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, light beige head, with heavy lacing, over a clear, but particle laden dark copper (SRM 18) body....nose is heavy toasted malts, with light dried fruit notes, including plum, raisin, hints of toffee/caramel, light earthiness, slight hints of mint, balance to the malts....taste is moderately sweet, with plum, raisin, toffee/caramel notes, light earthiness, woody notes, finishing with light bitterness, balance to the malts.....mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, minimal alcohol, moderate carbonation, but with creamy texture. This is a pleasant iteration of the style. The biggest flaw is appearance, with the particle laden body, but how was it stored? Both aroma and flavor were malt forward, with light hop support. The Northern Brewer came through nicely, as did the malts. BJCP 7/1/13/4/6

Dirty brown brew. Lots of junk floating about in the beer. Poured next bottle very slowly and left the last ounce in bottle, it was cleaner than the first but had no head. Smells of bread or toffee so it smells OK. Taste was a let down. There is a dark malt flavor but also a slight burnt flavor that just makes this not that great. Since I am only getting 11 ounces out of each bottle and this cost $3 more per six pack than other better tasting bocks on the market it is a major never again purchase.

not a bock seeker, but this is a well made monkey .. . pours dark tan .. medium foam head, great lacing .. . caramel and bread crust .. . medium mouth and finish .. a good bock .. . .
Got thrown out of the theater during the Superman movie but was able to sneak back in by putting on glasses.
