2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. I hadnít seen this in Texas before, so I bought it. Not much nose to it. Clear and gold enough. Tasty, though -- itís a damn fine little lawnmower beer, and it was tasty tonight while we played Bananagrams and Munchkin. Cheap. Get some.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2004 Not sure I like this new packaging. The colors, painted label, and clear bottle remind me oddly of Edison Light (not a good memory). Hopsy afterbite. Mild rust taste, a bit sour on palate. Consistent tiny bubbles. An alright new variation, but I liked the drier one better. It seems like they sacrificed a bit of the taste for a hint of driness here. Hrm. Flowery aftertaste. Iíve heard this is now made in Brooklyn like it used to be back in the day... though the bottle says New York, NY, which would refer to Manhattan. Are they dumb, or is this mis-advertised?

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Crisp, drinkable, and inoffensive, but not too much else to say about this. A little more fruity/malty than many pale lagers but not something Iím ever itching to drink again.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden, no head or lace. Somewhat malty nose, mild, medium bodied, corn syrupy flavor and lingering sweetish, corn, rice finish. Not offensive, just not good.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz canned Nov 8, 2010. Pours golden yellow with some light sediment in suspension, one finger fizzy white head that quickly recedes to a wispy cap and ring only leaving a spot or two of lacing behind. Aroma is standard adjunct lager fare, sweet grain, corn, some bread and a touch of grass. Low to moderate strength (although I doubt many will be pouring this beer in a glass). Flavor is corn, grain, a touch metallic, a bit sweet at first but finishes quite dry and watery. Mouthfeel is thin and light, medium carbonation. Decent enough adjunct lager, would be an OK lawnmower beer but I think Iíd still take PBR for less money in this category.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Wow, I had been looking for this beer on here for a while, but had forgotten how to spell it, there's an "h" in it. Ok, so this is the cheapest beer that I have ever halfway enjoyed. pours decently, but it's hard to want to drink this one out of a glass. But it pours decently with a fizzy head that lasts a little while. Smells a little strange, but not too bad. Average lager, not too bad.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear rich gold with a thin snow-white head. Some fine lacing. Smells of grassy and very sweeet malt. Lightly sour.
Itís grassy and lightly sour in the aftertaste. Some faint hops in the finish. Crisp and light although there is a bit of stickiness in the aftertaste. This is OK but pretty dull, even for a macro lager.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
not a very distinguised aroma, golden, clear, light sweetness, light body, average carbonation, a step above the macros
