2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewpub. Served with a dark brown body, looking quite clear, and with a nice, beige head. The nose had a touch of coffee and roasted malt, a hint of butterscotch and a little fruityness. Butterscotch up front in the flavor, followed by a fruity sweetness and some coffee. The finish was quite sweet, with butterscotch, some coffee and a light metallic note. Medium body. The best of the three from Rheinsberg. (070802)
