It had a weak smell of metall, bread and a hint of something sweet. The flavor was sweet with malt, bread, metall and a low bitterness. The liquid was fairly thick,. An ok beer.

On tap. Malt, caramel and herbal aromas. Pours light copper, with average white to tan head, some persistance and lacework. Malty flavours, along with sweet notes. Very light body and average carbonation. Really easy to drink, quite enjoyable.

Dark amber, golden lace.
Light honey roast, fruityness as it warms, grassy hops, good balance, not as much bitternes as in other Alts I think. Medium body, light sparkly mouthfeel.

bevuta alla spina, in un locale in stile tedesco in Madrid (FASS). Premettendo che la mia conoscenza delle altbier è piuttosto limitato, i due boccaloni sono stati piuttosto graditi. Una birra leggera, da bere in quantità nel più classico stile tedesco, accompagnando con wurstel e patate. caratterizzata da un iniziale equilibrio fra dolce ed amaro, una leggera tostatura accompagna verso un finale che tende verso note amare comunque contenute. si intravedono note fruttate -floreali che la distinguono da una lager classica e, lasciata scaldare un pochino, acquista maggiore complessità. ideale per una serata conversando ... in stile birra e salsiccia.. mancava Bud Spencer seduto al mio fianco

On tap at Oldenburg (Madrid). Brown colour with a large, good lasting and nice lacework on the glass white head. Aroma is toasty and mild hoppy. Flavour is bittery, with a final not very long but dry. Carbonation si medium. Body is light to medium.

Trocken malziger, etwas rauchiger Geruch. Trockener Malzantrunk, etwas wässrig udn von einer herben Note durchzogen. Im Mittelteil ist die herbe Note weiter deutlich erkennbar, zum Glück ist die Wässrigkeit nun verschwunden. Im Nachgeschmack klingt das Bier leicht röstmalzern aus, wobei die Herbe von Bitterkeit abgelöst wurde. In Ordnung, aber keine Besonderheit.

On tap: bready malt. weak caramel, weak honey as it warms up, herabal and metalic hoppy bitterness, a bit of Cashew, cardboard, medium to light bodied, lacks flavor and character nice but not more then that.

Draught sample at Porter & Sons in Tel Aviv. Clear deep golden to copper color. Malty aroma with a bit of nutty notes. Sweetish malty flavor with light fruity hints, some toasty notes and a finish with light bitterness. Light-medium body. A mediocre Alt.
