Slightly hazy golden pour with a white head. Aromas of sweet malts and some slight earthy/grassy hops. Pretty straightforward, smooth and drinkable. Nothing incredible but a decent beer all the same.

Poured from 12 ounce can purchased at Remke in Delhi Township. Medium gold color, pungent bittersweet nose, creamy texture, creamy bittersweet taste--interesting flavor profile, kind of like a golden ale/cream ale hybrid. Wish it had a little more heft but not a bad beer at all.

First can from a six pack purchased at whole foods. Disappointing. What little hop aroma is characteristic of European noble hops. Felt very thin in the mouth. No notes from the ale yeast. Quite frankly, this tasted like Stella. Issues in the new canning process perhaps?

It’s certainly a good beer. Clean and smooth. But it’s also not a standout.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of toasted malt, light fruits. Flavor of toasted, bready malt, light fruits, earthy hops. A tasty golden ale, lots of tasty toasted malt notes and bitter hops. Better than I expected.

A phenomenal introduction to a new brewery, this beer is the ideal sessionable handle. Drunk at the tasting room it mixes a flavorful presence with the sense to get out of the way. The resulting balance keeps it interesting without any fatigue. Be sure to get at least a sample when you visit.
Aroma / Appearance - Lemony bronze liquid bobs up and down beneath a white head the color of freshly bleached towels. Pine, glazed oranges, and tropical aspects give it a summery feel on a cold winter day in Cincinnati.
Flavor / Palate - Pears, oranges, and smooth hops carry into a resiny transition of gentle hops. The bright mouthfeel sparks the senses as it sweeps towards a warm finish. If you’ve ever wondered what a British golden ale is supposed to taste like fresh this is in the ballpark.

Draft at Rhinegeist. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor has moderately sweet grainy malt, mild citrus notes and very light bitterness. Worth trying once.

Nice golden ale with a buttery, biscuit aroma and taste. Some taste of honey and sweet fruit. Not a bad simple golden ale.
