12 oz can into tall tulip-like glass. Pale golden; head dissipates into a barely-ring. Aroma honey bread, clementine, a little syrupy/corny. Not impressed.

Rhinegeist cougar is a light golden hazy brew with a big head of white bubbles. Nose is light malt and a very slight bit of hops. Taste is light malt and crisp, clean hop presence. Body is light and fluid. A very nice lighter ale.

12 oz can with a 052015 date code. Uh oh! Got a leaking seam on the can here. Poured out a hazy golden with no head. A bit flat as to be expected. Some fruity aroma and flavor. Not much mouthfeel to speak of. Iíd try it again. No real flaws besides the leaking can.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Honey; herbal cough drops; light tangerine. Appearance: Translucent light gold with streams of soft, wispy bubbles. The foamy white head quickly fades into a patchy skin. Flavor: Tangerine-centric hop character up front with a solid undercurrent of honey; the finish picks up a little herbal quality, and is probably sweeter than any other Rhinegeist beer Iíve tried (which is still not very sweet). Palate: Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: A little uneven for me; Itís a tasty enough beer, but I wish the body were a little lighter more than anything.

For my first beer from this brewery it is not encouraging. Just really plain and below average.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a slightly hazy gold from the can with thin white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of honey and biscuit malt, hint of citrus hops. Taste follows, clean and easy. Nothing special, but not bad.

Can from Arvinís stash. A bit flat, slightly corny. Touch of hop bitterness. An unpleasant aftertaste. Way too close to coors light territory.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can on RBWG Bus. Pours a clear gold with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is grass and wheat. Medium mouth with light citrus and grass, light dry finish, decent.
