12 oz. can from Old Town. Aroma: Salted lime; honey dew melon; light Sauv Blanc with maybe a hint of cereal. Appearance: Pours a pale gold with average carbonation propping up a foamy white head; the head settles into a patchy ring. Flavor: Straight up salted lime at first; with just a little melon; white wine notes become more noticeable towards the finish; which dries out well and is lightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Wonderful beer; not really sure why they want to call this a Belgian Ale; as others have said, itís more like an APA/IPA if anything.

so I went to the store and bought this can. the can is empty now. Nose is citrus, possible mosaic and cat pee. Some mildly fruity shit. Sip intensifies the fruit shit. Fruitier than most Belgians Iíve ever had. I do get the grape aftertaste and it works really well. Wife says: it good, itís really good, itís good, I like it - tone didnít carry over very well. yay for sauvin

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz can. Pale, semi-hazy straw; fluffy white head. Fruity, grapefruit/orange, pineapple, pine, grass, very light Belgian yeast, biscuit grain. Medium+ bitter finish, fairly dry, and pretty clean/crisp. Mouthfeel on the thin side, and not a lot of carbonation. Reasonably good; definitely not a standout.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden glow with an airy head with big foam bubbles - which then dissipates quickly. Aroma of belgian spice and slight citrus hops. Taste is upfront belgian spice, slight citrus hops, not much malt flavor. Light on the tongue. Not much carbonation. Okay beer.

Draught at LB. Very nice and lightly hopped beer - not really Belgian. But those Nelson Sauvin shine.

Draft at the Jungle Jims tasting bar: Pours a nice light golden orange with a bright white head. Aromas are nice and fruity... citrus. Taste is pretty sweet, but balanced with the bitter citrus bite...good. Itís a bit more watery than I would hope for...but like I said... good.
