UPDATED: OCT 24, 2014 Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, melon and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and light grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Strong hoppy bite from start to finish with a hint of citrus, but you have to search for the citrus. The hops overpower just about every other note in the beer. I love hops, so it's good for me.

Draft: pours orange with a big off white head. Aroma is all bitter citrus, but the flavor balances it out with some underlying sweetness... Honey? Very enjoyable.

Huge tropical fruit on both the nose and palate. Sweet orange, mango and papaya. Caramel and a little pineapple. Hops are great without killing your palate. Nonexistent alcohol

On tap @ GABF. Amber pour with a white head. Big time pineapple/tropical fruit nose. Some mango, grapefruit, and pine. A touch of peach and caramel malt. Flavor is moderately sweet. Caramel, pineapple, mango, and peach. Lots of grapefruit, some resinous pine, and a mild bitterness.

Draft (and growler). Pours a bright copper/dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor has a nice combination of caramel and toasted malts with pine and fruity hops. This is not the biggest imperial/double ipa, but it is very drinkable and Iím sure Iíll have a few of these over time. How it was released is a completely different story.
