Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, melon and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong hoppy bite from start to finish with a hint of citrus, but you have to search for the citrus. The hops overpower just about every other note in the beer. I love hops, so it's good for me.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft (and growler). Pours a bright copper/dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor has a nice combination of caramel and toasted malts with pine and fruity hops. This is not the biggest imperial/double ipa, but it is very drinkable and Iím sure Iíll have a few of these over time. How it was released is a completely different story.
