An amber coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is thin but there are fruity notes. The taste is malty and a little sweet with more fruity notes. It’s ok no more. leaparsons (4759), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

Aromas are light toffee malts with spices. Unfortunately some detergent from the over-clean pub. Flavours are biscuit malts with caramel. Hints of citrus and spritzy soda water palate. Quite bitter on the finish. Tasty for its strength. Rastacouere (5566), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

A highly malty bitter in the traditional South Wales style. The malt is very deep and rich in the aroma, with caramel and toffee notes. Sweetish, with just a dab of earthy hops. Not really my favourite style but this is a well made example.
