Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a dark red/brown colour with a small head.
Smells roasty and burnt.
Tastes of very burnt malts, coffee in a very stout like way. Though it is also fairly watery and drinkable.
A very quaffable brew.

50cl. bottle from a supermarket in Swansea. It pours a clear deep dark brown liquid with a high but diminishing head that lasts throughout the beer but leaves no lacing. The aroma is complex and original, with roasted malts and hints of chocolate and coffee very balanced with a pleasant herbal hoppiness and wheat. It has a slight smell of Ratafia (catalan nutmeg liquour). It tastes likewise, with very refreshing wheat touches along with the main malty flavour. It feels medium sweet and a little sour. Softly carbonated, smooth and very pleasant in the mouth. It ends dry and bitter, with a roasty aftertaste with hints of coffee and herbs; a little sweet too. Very complexe session beer with a smart presentation, but no customized crown cap. Pretty nice.
