"Our strongest ale to date. A heady flavour from a combination of six malts, carefully and skilfully mixed by hand, which we believe provides an ale of exceptional character. Full bodied yet rounded, serious but eminently quaffable".

50cl bottle thanks to Lewis. Pours amber with a slim head. The nose has mainly malty and slightly astringent. The taste has some honey and malt. The palate is close to medium bodied with a fairly rich texture and a finish which isn’t too bad, even if not refreshing. Overall, solid but not great.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass. Pours a dark red/amber colour with little to no head, and no lacing either. Smells faintly alcoholic and malty. Tastes of medium to dark malts and some nice fruity English hops. Well balanced out with a bit of booziness too. Overall a nice drop.

Looks flat but has an excellent fruity taste coupled with a pleasant bitter afterthought.

500ml brown glass bottle from Tesco, Swansea. Roasty strong bitter. Sweet malt. Very nice. Like a stronger version of the regular bitter. Nice.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 3. Pours clear amber with a tight, foam head. Ripe fruits and faint toast in the aroma. Light toffee, mild citrus bitters in the flavor. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Subtle leaves in the finish, good and light brown sugar. Nice beer.

Bottle from Tesco Extra, Bridgend, Wales, 21.08.11 Pours dark amber good clarity, white head. Tastes pasteurised too me, soft in mouth but fruity with a decent tang and a dryness at the edge. Malty with some caramel flavours, it’s ok but I’m not a big fan. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0
