Some malt aroma. Amber coloured smooth on the palate and malty with a crisp and slightly nutty dry finish.

Mar 2, 2009 Cask conditioned - handpump Victoria, Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a little white head but good lacing. The aroma is strong on the fruit whereas the taste has more going on: fruits, malts, a hint of coffee and a hint of chocolate. Maybe served too warm but shows signs of good flavours.

Feb 8, 2009 Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest 09. Brown with white head. With all the great beers around, this struggled a little to make an impact, there is a bready malty body with a gentle hop overlaid, but all very understated and quite thin. Still very drinkable, but not dramatic.

Feb 7, 2009 Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 6th and 7th Feb 2009 Pours a dark brown with a red tinge and large off white big bubbly head. Plenty of earthy hops present themselves initially and there are sponge and biscuity flavours coming to the fore. There is a light citrussy note and its a likeable if not exactly stunning beer. A6 A3 F6 P3 OV13 3.1
