3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a lovely golden/amber colour with a decent head.
Smells of mid/light malts and some nice fruity English hops.
Tastes oh so drinkable, balanced malts and hops making it tasty and refreshing but not overbearing in any aspect.
Overall an excellent session bitter, a marvel at such a low abv.

50cl bottle thanks to Lewis. Pours amber with some gentle bubbles and a very slim head. The nose has toffee, some slight biscuit notes. The taste has more toffee and the biscuit is more prevalent. The palate is almost medium bodied with a nice crunchy texture and a crisp finish. Overall, a well made bitter.

Bottled, 500ml from Booths in Longton, Lancs. Amber to copper with short white head. Sweetish malts initially with a marked vegetable note, sprouts perhaps, quite an iron note within that. Some late if boiled hops, continues to be sweetish with a caramel finish.

I'm tasting a gift horse but I can't find that in the app so I hope it's the same one. Nice clear aroma. Very light taste.
