COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hoppy beer with a sweet malty body, this brew is a bitter treat hopped with a different hop variety in every batch.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear amber with a small off white head. Smooth, citrusy grapefruit nose. More grapefruit and some caramel in the flavor, lightly herbal. Pretty well balanced. Excellent lace.

Draft - The beer is served way too cold on draft. Also served from a frozen pint glass. No head present. Copper colored beer. A sweet hoppy watery flavor. Must be better when properly served.

(Amarillo hops) Clear amber body with creamy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, mild, grapefruit/herbal. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/herbal. Watery light-medium body.

The appearance is too dark for an IPA. It looks almost like a dark red ale. The aroma is good and so is the taste. I keep around by the growler, since it is right down the street.

Dark copper red. This is the Amarillo batch that the bartender said was so popular that they were kind of stopping the different hop varieties to just brew this one. Really dark for an IPA. Slight haze. Good soup head. Full apricot and grapefruit hop aroma. Hops remain intense and juicy in the flavor. Light sweetness from the malt, but the malt seems to lack the depth to make this truly great. I really like this, though.

Tap at Richbrau -- Ruby body with a light white head. Nice hoppy aroma with some citrus accents. Excellent taste, smooth body. A very good example of this style.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear copper color with thin off white head. Prominent, delicious grapefruit hop nose and flavor. Bitter finish.
