Pours cloudy brown with very good brown head that stayed for awhile. Aroma of hops, some chocolate, and grains. Flavor was kind of coffee like, but also watery on the finish for a stout. So so overall.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with very good brown head and lacing. Nose is amazingly rich cocoa, chocolate cake, and roasted grounds. Flavor lends a bitter coffee note and a sour chocolate hint which I’m not so big a fan of. Still, the great silky full body makes this a great brew. One of the best I’ve had from these guys.

Bottle. Clear brown pour with a thin beige head. Odd aroma of cola, vegetables and some tanginess. Vegetal flavor with cola, plastic and roast. I hope this was a bad bottle. Would definitely recommend the Springtime Stout to this one.
