21/07 On tap at Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. It poured hazy deep golden body with smaller head. A interesting touch of orange in aroma, otherwise honey and hay malt. Sweet flavor, but in a nice way, some caramel, coffee, sugar, brown sugar, overripe fruits, peat, prosek (dessert wine)...everything is here. Medium in body with long sweetish finish where orange pops up again. Interesting and definitely not bad.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. On tap at Richtar Jakub. Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of wort, vegetables, unmalted barley, bread. Flavour is medium sweet, veggies, bread, malts, bitter light grassy finish. Light-bodied.

Tap @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012. Cloudy, darkish orange appearance with an off white head. Chew, rich tangerine, rotten fruit, herbal aroma. Old orange fruity, herbal, grassy, tangy flavor. Pass.

(draught) pours a murky copper-amber colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy barnyard and pepper, with a hint of mango, honeymelon and light apricot. flavour is mostly dark fruit, straciatella yoghurt and toffee, with a very light roasted-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Brown, murky body. Wine gum, sweet fruits and Belgian yeast. Medium bitter, raw, better taste.

At the brewpub. Very dark golden body, slightly off white. Stong aroma, honey and fermented fruit. The taste is honeyish, fruity, lemony, ending ashy. Generally dry and honeyish. Special for Slovakia. Interesting.

RBESG Grand Tasting. Cloudy amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with straw, husk. Sweetish malty with a touch of fruit, some straw, hay and husk, and a decent bitter finish

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2013 Tap at brewpub. Medium creamy white head. Hazy golden colour. Aroma quite mild, honey and caramel, malty. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Bitterness comes more forward in the finish. 5 4 6 3 12
Rerate 2013 edition. Aroma malty, honey. Little changed. Simply not to my taste, otherwise nicely done.
